lilt line App Reviews

Sigh

So badly did I want to give this game 5stars. Sadly its content still does not justify the price. I had high hopes for this game but it just isnt that fun.

Amazing

I cannot express how much I hate the people who review apps. How cheap and ignorant can you people be? You are an embarassment and you are ruining the app store. Seriously how ghetto do you have to be to write "not worth 3 bucks argh!". I spend more than that on coffee. Now that that is out of the way, I truly love this game. The music is incredible, the gameplay is challenging but miraculously never frustrating. It is short, but try to perfect every level. Ive only managed to score perfect on 7 levels so far. This is hands down my favorite app.

/me loves it

I really like this one. You may not, primarily because it’s way too short. You could play through all the levels in one or two sittings. The idea, the minimalist presentation, and the Dubstep soundtrack (provided by 16bit) are absolutely killer. You guide a simple white trail through an ever-changing tunnel, by tilting the iPhone. When you cross a thick white column, you tap your finger to the beat anywhere on the screen. Hitting the walls or missing a beat reduces your score. Hit zero, game over. Unfortunately, the beat tap feels unresponsive, since it’s triggered on the release, not the press. C’mon, it’s a rhythm game, how could they make that mistake?!? Another questionable design decision is that the key parts of the music are dampened, after a miss, which is punishing. This is billed as a "massively single player tactical espionage survival horror musical space flight simulation", which is pretty awesome in and of itself. Why is it called Lilt Line, instead of Tilt Line? No idea. Again, I like it, but I don’t really recommend it, in it’s current state, for anyone but the most adventurous, rich, and/or drunk. Update: Kick_Butt. The developers have added 4 new, huge levels; bumps my rating up to 4 Stars. I really do like this game and I can heartily recommend it, now that they have addressed my primary concern.

Great game. Excellent music

Im happy to support this developer. Please add more levels in the future

This game is...

Perfect.

trippy with an amazing soundtrack

recommended if you loved eliss

Love it

I love dubstep and I love this game. Add a random level generator that lets you play through the whole song after you beat each level. And a visualizer type thing so you can just listen and watch the sp erm swim through the trippy v agina cuz I hate destroying these beautiful beats when I mess up.

Old graphics, could use different music genres

Its alright. Needs more music and definitely DIFFERENT GENRES. I would also like to see better graphics. The background colors are mere gradients! Add more pizazz to the game! Different menu too!

Its Beautiful

Love the retro graphics and the wonderful music! But how about making the file size smaller?

Poor presentation

Although the minimalist interface is intentional, its been executed poorly. Bad menu, bad score + exit design, and the level design is lacking clever and exiting flow. Great concept, but needs to revisit the drawing boards.

Luv it!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Its an awsome game with good music.

Beast

My favorite everything in this game.1. Tilt to survive withought hitting walls. 2. Tap to the rythm while tilting.. 3. DUBSTEP!!!.!!!!!!!!!! :) yyeah dont listen to people keep the menu how it is! It makes the game sooo cool and I lie the setup of scoreboards

Awesome, and different, music game. Must for rhythm fans

One part "dont touch the walls!" another part rhythm tapping and all awesome, lilt line is an amazing and must have rhtyhm game for any music fan on the iPhone. Unlike all the other simply "touch the button when the buttons line up" games, this game has a very different style and gameplay mechanic. You control a line through a tunnel, and cannot hit the walls. You there are vertical lines that cannot be avoided, you tap them to the music. Its really fun, and very different. Of course, music games live or die by their soundtrack and this games soundtrack does not disappoint. Its bot J pop or classic rock but a nice dubstep flavor. Its taken me a long time and I still havent perfected each level. A stand out on iPhone or music gaming, period.

Pretty Insane!

The amount of points that are lost in this game are a bit too high, and there arent enough levels. Overall though, there are massive colorful backgrounds and the best music you could hear in an app.

Yes!

I love this game. More levels pleeease!!!

Love Dubstep, love this

Im a music game fan in general, and was surprised to find out this game was all dubstep when I first played it on the Wii. The $2.99 price point seemed steep, but after playing Groove Coaster I remembered this game and broke down and bought it for the phone. The game is great, music amazing, and controls feel responsive. There are a few things that make it feel less polished though. The app doesnt yet support Retina displays (jagged edges, must look horrid on iPad). And at the ends of the levels, the music simply cuts off- a bit of reverb/delay tails would have solved this. But as it is, the end of the level seems almost as jarring as losing halfway. Overall, great game. I feel like $2.99 is still steep for what you get (still worth the purchase for the soundtrack) but if retina graphics were added and a little more polish to the game and UI, it would be a no-brainer for any music game/dubstep fan.

Cant sleep!!

I cant put my phone down because of this game! I love it.

Amazing

Sure, some more polish and extra tracks would be nice. But its a fantastic idea executed in a original style

Awesome!

I have been waiting for this on the iPhone! I have the game on the Wii and love it! Thank you creators!!!!
